Naples Pizza in San Antonio

We visited this restaurant this past Sunday, August 25th, and was and we're promptly seated. There were three in our group. We loved the ambience, and the wait staff was exceptional and attentive. The only areas I noticed for improvement were: 1. The filling of waters or drinks seemed to be overlooked a little 2. We sat in a booth, and tell archway was a real good echo of the conversation on the adjoining booth - almost like a speaker was in our booth. Thus, something to be aware of if you are hoping to have a confidential or private conversation. I had the tacos nortenos, and my wife had the street fish tacos (sorry I can't recall what they're called on the menu). I would definitely recommend this restaurant to other people, and friends

I love this location! The food is delicious, the chispas are perfection, and the wait staff is awesome. One of the few nice places I can take my kids because they even like the food which says a ton. If you need an amazing margarita or a place to take out of towners that haven't had a good margarita, get yourself/them the chispa. Also love their on my son thwrst reward program.

El Mirasol at Alon... Imagine a Mexican Eatery where each dish is made with only choice beef, top grade seafood, select poultry and every drink is made with top-shelf liquor. El Mirasol at Alon is that place. We enjoyed a beautiful evening starting in their courtyard just off their bar with one of the best margaritas in SA. From their we moved into the well appointed restaurant. Started with more chips and salsa and then onto a very fresh ceviche appetizer capped off with absolutely the best quality Mexican eatery entrees I"ve found in San Antonio. If you appreciate excellent preparation and presentation and appreciate the noticeable difference in top quality produce, meats, and liquors from the standard fare, look no further... El Mirasol at Alon is a 5+. Really exceptional

Absolutely LOVE the manager RICARDO. I have never seen a manager work so hard and help his staff 100! In every way. He is a bartender, he host, he busses, he waits, he is just freaking amazing. He is definitely in the right position. He really deserves a major raise! The staff here starting with Ricardo and continue on with Domingo, Franco, Daniel, Raul, the host and everyone here is just amazing. The Food is top notch, this is our go to restaurant and we send all our family and friends here to eat. Love it!!!!!

Great food, great atmosphere with great service.

Good, quality Food with great service. There are a lot of places to eat here in San Antonio and although the food was good, I probably won't go back due to so many other amazing Mexican and Mexican inspired restaurants in the area. I had the lobster quesadillas and the lobster enchiladas alongside chips, salsa and guacamole. Good, but not extravagant but I wish that it was!

Delicious Mexican food and great service. Fiesta nachos are pretty good, a nice selection of meats and cheeses on tortilla chips. Doesn’t look like a lot of food but it’s very filling. Queso flamenca (sp?) is delicious with the fresh homemade tortillas. The salsa is very unique, and has a really good flavor-hard to pinpoint what the different flavor notes are but it’s inevitably gone quickly. Tortilla chips are all homemade, nice and crunchy. Regardless of what I usually order I always wish I had ordered what some of my dinner company had ordered because it looks so delicious compared to mine, which is not a dig on what I usually order but illustrative of the overall awesomeness of the food.

We had our company Christmas party there and it was great! Great food and service.

It was quite an enjoyable meal. Service was great and it came out quickly.

The chips and salsa and the margs are incredible here! Great service and atmosphere. The restaurant always feels clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

We had a birthday dinner 4 a friend and all of us really enjoyed the great selection of food. They have good Margarita, beer, etc and the waiter was awesome. I personally loved the selection of tacos

I have been to this location at least 6 times, and have always felt the food and service were excellent, but tonight, was the exception. We were a party of 6. Three of the entrees were cold, the rice was gloppy, and my chicken was overcooked (although the mole sauce was very good). Sad, because we were entertaining out-of-town guests.

LOVE El Mirasol! Best Mexican Food In Town. This is the place to go! We take all our friends/family here when they visit San Antonio. We love the food but beyond that we LOVE the service. Victor is usually our waited - and he is INCREDIBLE. Thank you to the entire El Mirasol team for making our dining experiences memorable!

Very nice place that is much larger inside than one would expect. Service is always friendly and great though you will have to fight crowds on the weekends.Salsas are always well made and flavorful, chips crispy warm that almost make you too full before the entre. The food is uniformly great. Goat tacos were well made and the meat encased in a fresh tortilla with a touch of crunchy cabbage and queso fresco was excellent, carnitas were perfectly toothsome and tender, soups tasty and service great. Worth fighting the parking!

So...if you like margaritas then you will loveeeeeeeee the Chispas here. All you need is 2.....they will creep up on you and before you know it, you are living it up like its 1999! But seriously the best Margarita in my opinion. Food is delicious too, both locations are consistent in drink and food quality. The newer location at Alon is gorgeous and the broadway really has not changed at all as far as I know, but no matter which location you choose...there will be a wait, but it's worth it.

Chispas!! Had to start with that. El Mirasol's version of the "skinny" margarita. They are amazing, but pack a powerful punch, so drink them responsibly. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious and the service is great, in spite of the place always being busy. One of my favorite places!

Can be pretty awesome for the most part they're inconsistent as with most restaurants consistency seems to be elusive as seen in my pictures two of the same entrees that look and taste completely different.

If you go here the service and food is impeccable. We love all of the servers— especially Victor! They will take care of you and it will be a great time. The chispa with don Julio will have you speaking Spanish in no time!

Had the seafood enchiladas. Excellent. Shrimp enchiladas also very good, said my partner. Friendly service.

I expected the usual type of tacos... Not so here. Taco Poco Loco... Small meaty. Perfectly seasoned. Flavorful. Chips & salsa a pleasant treat. Thick clips but not hard. Salsa not bland/mild, not spicy, just flavorful. We Will Be Back

The food was very good! We especially enjoyed the Pollo tacos, the chicken was moist and tender and the sauce was really good!

The best restaurant in San Antonio! Ricardo, the manager, is absolutely the best! He goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of! Raul, our waiter is phenomenal as well! The food is great and their Chispas are so good! HIGHLY recommend this place!

The food is consistently excellent. The service is consistently sub-par. I go to El Mirasol for the food - therefore I visit confident if a good meal.

The location is very clean and the food delicious. But the best part is the absolutely superb service. Will definitely return.

Order a chispa and any food on the menu you want. It is a great place and they have great service. I do recommend it.

It was good...the equivalent of Mi Cocina back in Dallas. The waiter seemed to lose interest, after I decided to go with the drink special VS the full-price selection. I don't drink like that, therefore the smaller size worked for me. A nice variety/selection of items to choose from & the food itself was actually very tasty. Overall, I would go back again when I'm in town.

The wait was around 20 minutes on a Thursday night. You give them your phone number and a text is sent when your table is ready. If you take a date make sure to ask for a table as the place can be a little loud to carry a normal conversation. We paid around $54 for two different entries, a margarita and dessert. The service provided was exceptional. Their chips and salsa(not spicy) are complementary. Now to the entries, the beans are as authentic as you can go. The taste is very traditional, their rice lacks flavor and texture, dry and with some type of spice that gives it a hard to eat flavor. The marinated meat was only hot on different areas not all the way, the taste was good, but I was not impressed. Their corn homemade tortillas probably are, but to heat them up I sure mine were placed in the microwave. The churros dessert presentation is great. An ice cream that actually tastes like vanilla will surely enhance the flavor along with the churros.

We made a reservation for a 60th anniversary for my in laws, the 3 food choices we selected were amazing, staff went above and beyond. Salsa queda is delicious, the other 2 too!

Good food, great drinks. Service can be a little slow, but I have to remind myself it mimics the laid back feel of actually being in Mexico.

Went for drinks. Server Franco gave fantastic service without being intrusive. He gave helpful drink guidance for our orders ( michelada and chispa =A+) and brought us an alternative salsa when he realized we weren’t enjoying the standard. Very much enjoyed our visit and will return, asking for Franco when we do.

My wife and I had a quiet date dinner. The service and food were perfect.

The food was absolutely delicious. Their tortilla chips taste home made; super crunchy and we loved the sauce. Coffee and iced tea were very good and we were very well taken care of. Our cheese enchiladas were supple and fresh. Great experience.

I really like this new El Mirasol, great atmosphere inside the restaurant. The bar area has large glass doors that can be fully opened on a nice day, kind of like an atrium.I used to get the crab salad. This time I ordered it and it's different. Now they mix crab meat with mayo and stuff. It used to be just plain crab meat on an avocado with some nice dressing. Don't like the new stuff :(

Food was Excellent !! Margarita's were just as good. An excellent place to take the family for lunch or dinner. Unique Tex-Mex plates (Lobster Tacos delicious).

From the look of the entrance to the decor inside, the building is beautiful and in a great location. Close parking during lunch hours are hard to find (not their fault 🙂) but it is definitely worth it. The food and service are always spot on and the waitstaff always seems to help each other out and stay on top of drinks and food requests. Great food and great prices - expect to spend a little more but get a lot more satisfaction.
